MOTIVATION OR PHILOSOPHY

 Philosophy:

I have met many people in my life. Some are simple, travelling through life and taking the challenges one at a time. Some are Driven, and by god when you meet these people who are driven, you cannot help but be awed by their drive, passion and methods, whether they be good or bad.

There are a lot more bad examples to give out here than good ones but let us try and explore some cases:

CASE 1: THE RELIGIOUS ZEALOT

Take a religious zealot. He has convinced himself that his version of god is the superior one. His entire life's philosophy is guided by his need to prove that his version is correct. He doesn't need money for his efforts, he may not even be fully happy if he has convinced every one else as well. But he applies his philosophy to everyday things nevertheless, forming an identity centered around his core philosophy.

He is not open to a lot of new things, and will not be persuaded by scientific results. But if he wants to build a religious place for worship, which he feels is correct as per his philosophy, he will not stop until he has raised enough funds and that work is complete.

Now this in itself may or may not be a genuine 100% philanthropy from his side but consider this case from the point of view of a poor religious person who lives nearby. For him, this would seem like a gift from GOD himself and he would forever hold the zealot in the highest regard. If not for the zealot, regular religious folk would have been satisfied in going about their day to day activities, since building something this huge needs lots of time and efforts for which there is no pay.

I would argue that even though any extreme is harmful but in this particular case something good came out, which other thousands of everyday folk would never have achieved in their life.

And Frankly this is something I could learn from this person.

CASE 2: HITLER

Now not to go in to too much detail about something that caused unimaginable grief then and even today, what Hitler did was unforgivable. This was again a case of an extreme philosophy that was shaped by many years of seeing and hearing things about jews, that caused him to rally against the very existence of select people.

Every thing he said and did and write exuded that philosophy over and over and there was nothing you could tell him to convince otherwise.

Every person around him hypnotised by his words and philosophy back then, motivated to commit those brutal crimes. How many of us thinking today, would say that if it was me back then, I would have revolted against HItler and never been a part of the crimes. I disagree. I dont doubt my intentions, but I am unsure how I would have faced that kind of Extreme conviction of Hitler behind his twisted philosophies. These kind of people have an answer towards any and all questions or rebuttals you would through against them. They have convinced themselves to the point of delusion.

I have decided to take on the personality of a man who has philosophies, even though they are not that organically developed.

New Philosophies:

1. Man should be thorough:

In day to day life I meet a lot of different people, and personally the most impressive have been the ones who show great knowledge in whatever they do. It is a sign of greatness I feel that should be imbibed in all of us. If I am running a power electronics company, then even though I may only be the operations guy but knowing the design part of things helps me become mroe involved and lets me do my job better.

If I drive an electric car then it is always a great conversation if you are technically aware about lithium, EV charging, car features and what not.

2. Man should be organised:

We are not pigs, although some of us may wish that we were. Being organised should become a part of life, and this philosophy help imbibe that.

3. Man should be strong:

I have been feeling the effects of a weak body lately. Weak body leads to a weak mind, easily distracted.
